The merging of The Featherstonehaughs and Egon Schiele caught on film

The Featherstonehaughs took to the stage twelve years ago and have enjoyed huge success since their debut. Their classic piece 'The Featherstonehaughs Draw on the SketchBooks of Egon Schiele' was caught for the current print edition of Glass, in the form of a stunning fashion editorial by Photographer Dan Smith and Fashion Director Darren Knight.

Further collaboration between these creatives and  filmmakers Tubbybrother took place and an engaging film capturing the essence of this piece was made.

The aim of the film was not simply to capture the linear movement of the performance but to draw the viewer into the world of dance. From the outset this was key in the minds of the creators. Ben from Tubbybrother describes their concept best:

"We wanted to make a film that distills the feelings and emotions you experience after watching a dance performance;
to capture the moment you get home and close your eyes, remembering the snap shots of sound, pictures and movement.
Its interesting how people compile parts of their memory, shrinking down and condensing them into a personal experience with infinite interpretations."
