HAVING spent the past 30 years catering for the Oscars party, Wolfgang Puck is renowned across Hollywood for his infallible culinary expertise. This March, the infamous chef has invited 45 Park Lane’s executive chef, Elliott Grover, to join him in showcasing British cuisine.
Celebrating classic gastronomic delights, Grover will cook three signature British dishes, which will be presented on the biggest night in cinema.
The dishes include roast beef with a wagyu roasted Yorkshire pudding, creamed horseradish and watercress, a prawn cocktail roll with beluga caviar and Marie Rose sauce and native lobster ‘fish and chips’ with a spicy tartare sauce.

To mark the occasion, London’s 45 Park Lane will host a special exhibition by celebrity photographer Andy Gotts. Bringing Hollywood glamour to the luxurious city location, the exhibition will showcase a selection of notorious award-winning actors’ portraits. Titled ‘…And The winner Is…LA LA LAND?‘, the exhibition is a must-visit for film and art cognoscenti alike.
Similarly, Elliott’s Oscars menu will be available to experience at 45 Park Lane from January 23rd to April 1st, 2024. Hosted in the eponymous BAR 45, guests will also have the opportunity to try a new cocktail: And The Winner Is… Expertly crafted by bar manager Enrico Perri, the beverage consists of Campari with pickled red pepper, sweet Vermouth, clementine liquor with Kaffir lime leaves and Champagne.
Since joining 45 Park Lane as executive chef in 2022, Elliott Grover has proved his dedication, commitment and care to his practice.
Speaking on his partnership with Wolfgang, Grover said: “I am incredibly honoured to be bringing classic British dishes to the Oscars for a second year with Wolfgang, especially celebrating his 30th year cooking for the awards. And to present the dishes here at 45 Park Lane from January alongside Andy’s incredible photography will be sure to bring a taste of LA to London”.
