Faithfull The Brand’s summer 2025 collection is a love letter to Hydra

FOUNDED by Sarah-Jane Abrahams and Helle Them-Enger just over ten years ago, Faithfull is based between Bali and Sydney and is loved for its easy-breezy, thoughtfully made (it’s been B-Corp certified), summer-ready pieces.

Now, the brand’s new collection, entitled ‘Letters from Hydra’, channels sunny escapes, drawing inspiration from songwriter Leonard Cohen’s ’60s summers on the Greek island, and with that comes a sense of nostalgia.

Faithfull The Brand: Letters from Hydra

Reminiscing, he famously said, “It was as if everyone was young and beautiful and full of talent – covered with a kind of gold dust. Everybody had special and unique qualities. This is, of course, the feeling of youth, but in the glorious setting of Hydra, all these qualities were magnified.” This quote stuck with Faithfull because it is the foundation of the SS25 line.

Hydra’s laid-back, bohemian charm runs through every piece, with favourites from Spring’s La Madrague reimagined alongside relaxed cotton sets, European flax linen dresses, and soft tailoring in a new blend of certified rayon and linen.

The much-loved Citara story is back and features updated shapes, a retro Neapolitan stripe, and a new silhouette joining the Faithfull family are the Hedy Dress that’s perfect for holidays, long lunches and whatever else summer has in store.

When it comes to the colour palette, in keeping with the feel of the line, hues are warm and hazy, just like a Greek sunset, think on-trend buttery yellow, classic creamy white, sky blue and soft neutrals, that sit alongside playful hits of vibrant shades, custom pinstripes and vintage-inspired florals. Hydra by name and by nature. So of course the campaign was shot on the Greek island, captured by photographer Holly Chippindale.
