Omega debut their latest range of watches at Baselworld 2018

The Seamaster Jewellery Aqua Terra collection offers a heightened level of design with an abundance of feminine attributes. The style incorporates a bejewelled face depicting waves synonymous with the sea, comprised a total of 191 diamonds and 12 marquise-cut rubies along with Omega’s signature standard of precision.

Omega Seamaster 1948 Limited Editions

The Seamaster range was first launched in 1948 with its 70^th anniversary this year. To celebrate this, Omega has released the Seamaster 1948 Limited Editions. During the Second World War, Omega delivered in excess of 110,000 watches to the British Ministry of Defence for use in the RAF, this served as influence for the Seamaster 1948 Limited Edition timepieces.

With the aesthetic resembling the original Seamaster, the mechanics align with the modern aspects offered in the other ranges. Available in two models, the Seamaster 1948 Small Seconds features a brown-leather strap with leaf style hour and domed minute hands, whereas the Central Second has a blue-grey leather strap with Dauphine-style hands.

Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8

Omega has also released their latest Dark Side of the Moon model, to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the Apollo 8 Mission. The timepiece has been skeletonised to reveal the inner of the watch, with the inside manipulated to resemble the lunar surface. The watch is constructed using black zirconium oxide ceramic with a complementary yellow to contrast. The back of the watch, featuring Omega’s signature sapphire-crystal so see the inner mechanics, has been finished with a quote by Command Module Pilot, Jim Lovell spoken while on-board the Apollo 8, “We’ll see you on the other side”.

Omega De Ville Trésor Collection

The De Ville Trésor collection highlights Omega’s dedication to the world of women’s watchmaking. The sleek design is available in either 39mm or 36mm sizes. Extravagant touches of diamond-paved curves, embossed roman numerals and ceramic red flowers compliments the 18K gold or stainless style cases. A choice of fabric or leather straps and a range of dial colours allows the collection to appeal to a wider audience.

Omega Constellation Bangles

Omega have reinterpreted their Constellation watches to produce a set of golden bangles. The first bangle has 0.12 carat diamond at one end with a circle of pink opal at the other. The elegant design is an open style in a red gold. The second bangle is in an 18K white gold. Different in shape, this bangle has an overlapping design and the same diamond at one end, with a mother-of-pearl at the other. Both bangles are finished with a claw effect, synonymous with claws of the Constellation watches.
