The AMI Paris store opens In Mayfair, London

WITH a success as impressive as AMI’s – the chic yet casual menswear brand founded in 2011 by French designer Alexandre Mattiussi – a move to London comes with no surprise. Opening it’s first flagship boutique on Duke Street in Mayfair, the space, designed by leading architectural firm Studio KO, is meant to represent a continuation of all four existing stores based in Paris and Tokyo.

Playing with optical illusion through mirrors, the store showcases a wide range of interesting architectural combinations with concrete, wood, marble, as well as white brick and the brand’s signature flooring, yellow ceramic and black paint details. This mix between the brand’s strong Parisian aesthetics and the traditional British architecture of their Duke Street building makes for a perfect and unique shopping experience.
