Berluti celebrates the culture of Japan with a denim capsule collection

TO CELEBRATE their relationship with the country of Japan, Berluti are launching a denim capsule collection. With a history stretching back to 1999, when Tokyo became the home of the first store outside of Europe, the French brand debuted the pieces in the new relocated Ginza store in the Japanese capital earlier this year.

Utilising the precision and durability of Japanese denim, traditional treatment and detailing inspired by their take on this material are at the very core of this capsule.

Using brut denim, which is gently rinsed to achieve a casual look whilst still emphasising the blue, the fabric is then completed with a coil-engraved Scritto pattern to discover hues of white and finished with the traditional Berluti patina shine.

Just like the denim, the offering of clothes is thought-through. Ready-to-wear is at the heart of this collection with essentials thriving, from shirts to a B-Way jacket hinting at a more contemporary approach, to jeans and shorts that celebrate classic design.

For those that prefer a more relaxed aesthetic, jerseys, baseball caps and overshirts are also integral parts of this Berluti collection – and with the holidays around the corner, casual attire is at the forefront of our minds.
