Bradley Cooper stars in the new Louis Vuitton Tambour campaign

UNVEILED in July 2023, the latest version of Louis Vuitton’s Tambour watch shines in the Maison’s latest campaign. Shot by Mario Sorrenti, the campaign exhibits Bradley Cooper – esteemed American actor and filmmaker – sporting the recently released reinterpretation.

The original Tambour watch, released in 2002, created an impressive stir within the watch industry. Jean Arnault, director of marketing and development for watches at Louis Vuitton, has now harnessed the power and sophistication of the traditional design to release a polished, contemporary counterpart.

Set within the walls of the iconic Parisian gallery, the Musée d’Orsay, Cooper is shown posing in a confident, pensive manner against the museum’s walls.

Maintaining a strong focus on horology within the Maison, the Tambour showcases the highest level of craftsmanship by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton – the Maison’s Geneva-based watch manufacturer.

Alongside the moody, introspective set of images, Damien Chazelle directed an accompanying video to demonstrate the watch in all its splendour. The prolific director narrates the story of Cooper meeting a mysterious woman within the walls of the gallery.

Encompassing flashbacks, close-ups of the watch and a perplexing narrative, the viewer is invited into the mysterious world of the campaign.

With a classically smart aesthetic, the brushed steel Tambour is certain to appeal to all keen watch lovers.
