Burberry reveals cast for 2018 festive campaign

AS winter scenes pop up in store windows all around town and festive drinks adorn seasonal menus, fashion lovers eagerly await the release of Burberry’s annual festive campaign. Under former artistic director Christopher Bailey the British brand’s christismas campaigns have become a joyous staple featuring Britains biggest celebrities in a major production encapsulating the festive feeling.

Whether it’s telling the tale of founder Thomas Burberry in the 2016 short film starring Sienna Miller, Lily James and Dominic West, honouring Billy Elliot in 2015 featuring none other than Sir Elton John, James Corden and Julie Walters, or celebrating new romance in the 2014 campaign with Romeo Beckham – who was only 12 at the time – every film has been a heart-warming starry celebration.

We have yet to guess what this year’s theme will be but if the cast is anything to go by, it seems that new artistic director Riccardo Tisci is likely to continue the brand’s heritage with an equally star ridden cast. With actor Matt Smith making a second appearance after his 2017 involvement, accompanied by actress Kristin Scott Thomas, singer M.I.A., supermodel Naomi Campbell and her mother Valerie Morris-Campbell as featuring stars all dressed head-to-toe in Tisci’s Spring/Summer 2019 Pre-Collection.
