Chanel announces its commitment to education with #CHANELStudentDay

FASHION education from one of the world’s most renowned luxury brands is now available to students across Europe. The French fashion house, Chanel, which previously partnered with specialist universities such as the ECSCP (École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne) and the IFM (Institut Français de la mode), has expanded its influence by launching Chanel’s commitment to schools campaign.

Chanel Student Day

During the #CHANELStudentDay this week, the Grand Palais opened its doors to five hundred students, who were given an opportunity to discover the company’s creative process and the savoir-faire of high fashion. While exploring the behind-the-scenes happenings of Chanel’s Cruise collection, students could attend masterclasses held by Bruno Pavlovsky, President of Fashion at Chanel, and learn about head designer Karl Lagerfeld’s creative vision of Chanel.

By further partnering with top educational institutions such as ESSEC Business School and Central Saint Martins in London, Chanel has developed hands-on programmes that allow young creatives to flourish and learn from the best in the luxury industry. On top of offering a range of curricular internships, the company is hosting numerous seminars with the creative teams at the House, giving students the opportunity to collaborate on various projects, such as virtual merchandising of its boutiques.

Watch below to see how the student’s reacted to the Chanel 2018/19 Cruise collection and the masterclass led byBruno Pavlovsky.
