THE jewellery sales of Magnificent Jewels for Christie’s Hong Kong this autumn made a total of HK$731million (US$94million). The highlight of the sale was The Pink Promise which sold for HK$249,850,000 (US$32,163,932) meaning it matched the world record per carat for a pink diamond was last set at Christie’s Hong Kong in 2009.
