Experience Panthère de Cartier at Harrods

BRINGING the iconic Panthère de Cartier to life for the very first time, Harrods welcomes the French luxury jewellery brand to unveil a truly special experience. Running from 26 October to 27 November this year, Cartier has designed a journey to explore the story of the Panthère de Cartier through different rooms that unravel this unique narrative.

Entrance to Cartier experience

Cartier bellboys stand proud as you enter the experience, where shades of emerald green surround you as an ode to the animal’s eyes where you begin by learning about Jeanne Toussaint.

Known to be not just a style icon of the twentieth century but also a woman with an unforgettable spirit and determination that earned her the nickname of La Panthère. It is due to her creative direction and input then, that today it stands proud as one of Cartier’s most recognisable collections.

Infinity Rooms

The exhibition type event follows next into the Infinity Room which is encased in mirrored tunnels with reflective surfaces to watch the evolution of the Panthère style from 1914 up until today.

An arrangement of sparkling lights come together in the following room to create a 3D Panthère – nothing short of magnificent. Here visitors can take bespoke memoirs of this unforgettable encounter as well as a “touch and try” space giving an opportunity to be photographed wearing some of the pieces from this collection.

An exclusive curation of historical Panthère pieces from the Cartier Collection will be displayed in the boutique including the very first wristwatch from 1914 and a striking collar necklace dating from 1988

The UK’s Managing Director Laurent Feniou commented on this special project, “It is a very special moment for the Maison to hold this Panthère de Cartier experience at Harrods. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to reconnect in person with our clients and friends of the Maison, something that I am very much looking forward to.”
