Fendi begins 100th anniversary celebration with launch of Peekaboo Soft Small bag

MARKING a significant milestone in 2025, Fendi begins its 100th anniversary celebrations with the launch of the new Peekaboo Soft Small bag.

Unveiling this new House icon in a special video made by Emir Eralp to the soundtack of Little Dragon’s song, Little Man, the campaign mixes fashion, music and art, emphasising the eclectic flair of the Italian Maison.

Connecting women to the handbag in the brand’s founding city of Rome, Eralp effortlessly presents a myriad of moments, from illustrating the attachment you have to an accessory to the many ways – shoulder, crossbody and handle – you can carry your Fendi. Against the synth-pop of the beat, a softness is shown whilst maintaining a close eye of the craftsmanship of the piece.

“The Peekaboo Soft Small bag has perfect proportions. It’s like a Baguette bag, you can fit a lot in it, everything you need,” described Silvia Venturini Fendi, the artistic director of accessories and menswear. “They stretch, move, expand and contract depending on what you put inside. That’s the secret: soft small bags are never really small, they’re fake small”.

She continues: “I like the idea that this bag shows off its interior even more. The leather is soft and it’s like it’s smiling when you open it. This bag smiles”.
