The first property in China for Rosewood Hotels and Resorts is scheduled to open Summer 2014. The 283 room ultra–luxurious Rosewood Beijing is located in the central business centre of Beijing, Chaoyang District, opposite the iconic CCTV Tower. The Rosewood Beijing will debut the first Rosewood Sense spa brand in Asia, featuring treatments that reflect the location’s cultural and natural environment in addition to its unique feature – individual spa suites designed for overnight stays. Recreational facilities will include an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and yoga studio.
Designed by Melbourne-based Bar Studio, this state-of-the-art property will offer amongst the largest guest rooms in the city, with a large proportion of the rooms offering a maximum window aspect enhanced by window seating. Natural finishes, spacious bathrooms and walk-in closets will complete the sophisticated yet home-like surroundings.
The hotel benefits from spacious landscaped outdoor space with terraces, gardens and balconies integrated into the design of many of the public areas. Meeting and function space will include a pillarless ballroom and will also feature an adjacent outdoor garden for special occasions. Rosewood Beijing will offer its guests six restaurants which will serve a range of international cuisine, including their Chinese restaurant, Country Kitchen.
