Glass attends the opening of The Visionary World of Vogue Italia

In conjunction with its 50th anniversary, Vogue Italia has collaborated with Peroni to launch an exhibition celebrating the iconic magazine’s artistry and influence. Held at Industria, Studio 10, on the west side of Manhattan, the exhibition features rare behind the scenes footage, interviews, and commentary on a diverse group of individuals who have been involved with the magazine’s seminal moments. The collaboration will continue in 2015, with a global search to discover the next generation of style makers.

The opening night was a lively affair on the unusually warm New York evening. Expansive video installations featured talents such as Miles Aldridge and David Lachapelle, icons like Daphne Guinness and Dita Von Teese, artists and designers including Olafur Eliasson and Philip Treacy, and Hollywood royalty such as Quentin Tarantino and Jessica Chastain. Carefully curated by Vogue Italia’s editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, the opening was a unique celebration of the magazine’s influence and reach over style, art, and culture.
