Glass introduces Mary Mare by Mary Katrantzou


WITH the summer months in sight, Mary Katrantzou is launching a new bi-annual resort capsule collection Mary Mare from this May. This new venture has been pipeline for over a year with a conscious focus on sustainability and inclusivity – all fabrics, bar some lycra, are all natural and sizes now range up to UK 24. The celebrations of the fashion house turning ten years old are still echoing, the brand has accumulated a large array of prints and fabrics highlighted with philately and conchology motifs to use in Mary Mare.

The clothes transport you to a far away destination with postage stamps embroidered on dresses tied together with a belt, and signature suits in light fabrics perfect for lunches on the beach. Sea shells adorn ten dresses in the collection with a choice from mini dresses to kaftans depending on your occasion.

Mary Mare introduces swim lycra to Katrantzou’s repertoire available in six styles and different print stories so you can pick your favourite narrative to swim in. Additionally, beach towels and tote bags are available to match to your outfits with – not to mention extravagant raffia hats and silk scarves to piece Katrantzou’s vision of endless summer beauty together.

Mary Mare’s collection also includes a limited edition collaboration with Italian trainer company Superga. The trainers are ideal for the summer, becoming a staple to your daily-wear in the classic Mary Mare prints.
