Glass reviews Aveda: Damage Repair Leave in Hair treatment

AVEDA one of the first big-hitting organic eco-friendly and cruelty-free brands, has just launched the Hair Repair leave-in treatment.  The Hair Repair treatment has a lightweight creamy gel texture, that does not weigh the hair down when applied and also has the bonus of not leaving it looking greasy. The treatment is made using natural ingredients, such as quinoa protein to strengthen hair and the legendary macadamia oil to smooth and give it shine.

Aveda Damage Repair Daily Hair Remedy

I worked a pea-sized amount of product into the lengths of my hair which absorbed very quickly and did not feel sticky. I also applied the product on damp hair before styling it with my hairdryer or even when I air-dried my hair. It detangled the ends and gave them a silky smooth feel.

One of the deal-breakers for me was that it did not weigh my hair down, which many products do. I naturally have limp and thin hair without much volume and Aveda’s hair treatment did not affect the lift at the roots that I get with a blow-out.

When styled using a hairdryer or any other hair-styling tool, my hair looks healthy and shiny all day long. Its pleasant and non-invasive fresh scent makes you feel like you just came out of a hair salon. It is also great to use everyday even if you do not style your hair to keep it moisturised and well-nourished.
