Glass tries out Anastasia Beverly Hills’ summer collection

AS AN avid fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics from carrying around my trusty Dipbrow Pomade for years, I was super excited about trying their Magic Touch Concealer, Cream Bronzer and Stick Blush on the lead up to the summer weather.

I got my concealer in the shade 4 and was pleasantly surprised with how much product you get for the retail price- it’s huge! The packaging is still super lightweight and easy to carry around, and upon first impressions it was definitely a product of which you’d get your money’s worth.

A little goes a very long way and the colour is extremely pigmented leaving a full coverage look however, to make this a bit more manageable, I’d recommend using a dampened Beauty Blender for a more seamless finish. My under-eyes kept bright all day even after a 9 to 5 job, and with a touch of translucent setting powder, creases weren’t a problem.

As a girl who wears winged eyeliner on a daily basis, a great under eye concealer that doesn’t cause bleeds of black smudges is hard to find but Anastasia Beverly Hills have hit the nail on the head here!

Moving on to the Cream Bronzer, I got this in the shade Golden Tan and it was exactly that. Such an easy product to use and blend with my Real Techniques contour brush and the cream doesn’t dry on the face too quickly either, leaving me with a simple, flawless finish.

I used this on top of my Nars Sheer Glow Foundation and the Giorgio Armani Illuminous Silk Foundation– I found no problems with applying on top of either. The product also works great on bare skin, with a mix of the trio altogether, it creates a subtle, glowing look perfect for summer.

Finally, I was most looking forward to trying out this Stick Blush as I usually find they can be quite difficult to navigate around the face, but I wasn’t disappointed. I received this in the shade Latte, as I prefer my blush quite subtle and natural, and it delivered just that.

The perfect shade of pink to match with a tan in the sunny weather and it was incredibly long-lasting. Complete with a brush on the other end of the tube, made for an easy application and a great piece to add to the travel bag for touch ups.
