Bringing a poetic beauty to these pieces through a series of still-life images and a dedicated film, the multi-hyphenate inhabits an ethereal aesthetic as an accumulation of travel references from past to present are uncovered through the art direction of Ezra Petronio and lens of Mert & Marcus.

The voyeuristic yet intimate nature of this campaign hints at the star’s cinematic foundation while the opulence of the fashion and interior directly link to the very essence of Gucci today.

The collection, designed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele references specific historical eras and architectural monuments, suspending time and space into a single piece of maximalist jewellery.

Finding the inspiration behind this imaginary Grand Tour, the designer looked into the mid-nineteenth century all the way to the 1970s and to today, finding that when put together a fairytale like world was formed and translated into eccentric jewels accentuated through hues of aquamarine, rubellite, amethyst and sapphire.

Bringing a contemporary edge to the timeless nature of the past, Michele has managed to celebrate the extraordinary moments in the Hortus Deliciarium collection.
