Hotel London Edition reveal Christmas tree designed by John Booth

THE London Edition’s 2017 Christmas tree has been designed by John Booth, a designer and artist known for his multilayered collages of textures and collages. The tree he has designed for the Lobby Bar of The London Edition hotel is playful and experimental in its use of material and colour. Booth, who is known for his collaborations with Fendi, was inspired by artists like Karel Appel and Betty Woodman, but also by retro children’s playgrounds and post-modern Italian designs.

In addition, Booth has created new vases which will be displayed at The London Edition’s 140-cover award-winning restaurant, Berners Tavern. These vases are more abstract and bold than his previous work.

The tree’s decorations are available for purchase with all proceeds going to The Albert Kennedy Trust, a charity who support LGBT+ youth affected homelessness.
