IN Lanvin latest campaign for the SS22 season, Creative Director Bruno Sialelli, photographer Luis Alberto Rodriguez, and stylist Carlos Nazario have collaborated to create a surrealistic project featuring supermodel Naomi Campbell.
Naomi Campbell wears a short, black crinoline dress which is very reminiscent of the 1930s Concerto evening gown and its embroidery by Jeanne Lanvin. A nod to Jeanne Lanvin’s daughter, Marguerite, can also be discovered in the floral print of the dress.
Bruno Sialelli uses Maison Lanvin’s emblematic fabric, silk jersey, to present a Parisian chic within the campaign. Campbell’s dress eludes to the superhero Catwoman as the brand collaborates with DC Comics.

Two bags are especially showcased in this campaign. For one, the Happy bag receives a light and sophisticated makeover from its past version. For another, the Hobo bag, which was inspired by the fireplace andirons in Jeanne Lanvin’s library, also obtains specific focus in the SS22 campaign.

The campaign’s menswear is embodied by Evan Garcia wears a black trousers and Flash X sneakers.
The DC Comics superhero elements continue on his top as Batman’s infamous Batmobile appears on Garcia’s shirt and the masked superhero can be discovered on the back of the dark purple leather trench coat.
