HAIZHENWANG’S presentation, held at the Theatre Royal in Drury Lane was labeled as the Human Mistake giving feels of the world changing around us. The presentation featured re-purposed denim from SS17, with lace, pleats and layers and Swarovski crystal-studded pieces. Models were standing in the great room full of candles, layered up in the garments, denim over stripes, ruffles over lace, they stood there like beautiful carved statues.
Colours of blue, black and white, giving a simple yet effective reaction on the eyes, however on some models bright yellows shone through with the sunlight reflecting through the grand room.
The models eyes were lined with white eyeshadow, almost ghostly, with other neutral features by make up artist Yin Lee. Their hair styled in a way that was slicked and neat by Jonny Engstrom at Guy Kremer. Haizhenwang knows how to put on a show.
