LFWM AW19: C2H4

TRUMAN Brewery pulsates with heavy bass music as models wearing the C2H4 collection march down the runway.

Utilitarian silhouettes with reflective stripes and details are the focus, tucked into trainers equally adorned with the same details. Light, breathable materials layered and cut in  inimitable ways with a vast array of pockets, zips and buttons ensured each look had a spirit of its own, as well as suggesting a futuristic functionality.

The largely greyscale colour scheme is interrupted by the single neon green contact worn by each model, along with a silver scar on the tip of a cheekbone. A retro feel was introduced by oversized silken ties and passé thin sunglasses to accessorise.

Yuxi Chen travel’s back to the future with this latest collection, the first that she is not classifying as SS or AW, but simply naming FM2030.
