Loewe releases Men’s SS19 Campaign Preview

LOEWE will preview SS19 campaign during Paris Fashion Week Men SS19 shows displaying three images from the collection across hundreds of key locations around the city. Distributed through news kiosks and on walls throughout Paris, in addition to large billboards outside Loewe’s St. Sulpice studio, the photographs feature model Oscar Kindelan, actor Josh O’Connor and the upcoming Mini Gate handbag due to be released to sale at the end of summer 2018.

Oscar Kindelan as Steven Meisel for Loewe Men’s SS19 Campaign

The first and second images were shot by fashion favourite Steven Meisel. Featuring a thought-provoking portrait named Oscar as me, with model Oscar Kindelan posing as young Meisel himself, the campaign reflects on the ideas of projection and impersonation, questioning what it means to be your true self in the contemporary world.

Josh O’Connor for LOEWE Men’s SS19 Campaign

The next image depicts British actor Josh O’Connor in a colourful look from Loewe’s new men’s collection and the sunglasses from SS19 eyewear range. Depicted in an artificially summery setting, the photograph is inspired by the beach images from Jonathan Anderson’s previous seasons at Loewe.

Lastly, the preview of SS19 campaign displays the latest arrival to the Loewe family: the mini version of the house’s coveted Gate handbag, which made its debut on the Spring 2018 runway. The edition of the smallest Gate handbag, featuring a knotted belt on its front flap, will be available to the public in China from August 2018 and in stores around the world from September 2018.
