Louis Vuitton Creates Bespoke Trophy Trunk for Silverstone 2026

LOUIS VUITTON has unveiled a bespoke Trophy Trunk ahead of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2026, taking place in Silverstone this weekend, marking a continued fusion of luxury craftsmanship and elite motorsport.

Set against the historic backdrop of Silverstone, the trunk arrives as part of Louis Vuitton’s second year as Official Partner of Formula 1, reinforcing the House’s long-standing association with travel, innovation and victory. The unveiling signals the start of one of the most anticipated races on the calendar while underscoring a growing convergence between fashion, sport and global spectacle.

Central to this collaboration is Louis Vuitton’s heritage in trunk making, with the piece handcrafted at the Maison’s Asnières atelier in France. This historic workshop, where Georges Vuitton first developed automotive trunks in 1897, remains a cornerstone of the brand’s identity. The new Trophy Trunk features the House’s signature Monogram canvas, accented by bold Damier stripes that evoke the finish line while forming a graphic V for both Victory and Vuitton, an emblematic gesture that ties the object to the ritual of celebration.

Beyond its function as a protective case, the trunk represents a broader dialogue between precision engineering and artisanal savoir-faire. Much like Formula 1, Louis Vuitton’s practice is rooted in technical excellence, innovation and the pursuit of performance. As cultural boundaries between fashion, entertainment and sport continue to blur, this partnership positions both institutions within a shared narrative of modern luxury, one defined as much by spectacle and storytelling as by heritage and craft.
