LOUIS VUITTON has just announced their new fine jewellery collection for men titled, Les Gastons Vuitton.
The collection takes inspiration from the founder’s grandchild Gaston-Louis Vuitton, an avid collector who brought a sense of playfulness to the fashion house.

Artistic Director for Watches and Jewellery at Louis Vuitton, Francesca Amfitheatrof, believes the collection is fitting due to Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s shared values of openness and sensitivity, relatable to today’s men and women.

The collection sees three chapters of 16 pieces and two masterpieces, rings, pendants, necklaces, tags, gourmettes, bracelets and earrings.
The pieces featuring the Monogram appear precise with their laser-cut technology design, which allows for a contemporary aesthetic.
Louis Vuitton’s signature trunk motif is scaled down to its smallest size as it embellishes pieces of the collection in a combination of silver and diamonds. The materials used throughout the collection are that of yellow gold, white gold, and titanium, ensuring all pieces have a sophisticated and refined aesthetic.

The attention-grabbing Les Gastons Vuitton Blue titanium demonstrates a deep blue shade inspired by the fabric of denim with shared characteristics of elegance and versatility.

Les Gastons Vuitton Blue brings the collection a sense of modern luxury as it contrasts with the sophisticated and excellent nature of yellow and white gold.

The Creators title the first chapter of the collection, which showcases a mechanical ring and a skillfully constructed pendant demonstrating Louis Vuitton’s playfulness while encouraging reinvention.
The pieces display thematics of laser-cut titanium designs, functionality and interactivity, and the alluring Les Gastons Vuitton Blue with inspiration derived from Gaston’s sketches, ideas, and his capacities for innovating and inventing.

A characteristic inherent to Gaston was his long-established love for collecting, with all items considered a keepsake, from cocktail party invites to hotel labels. This chapter, The Collectors, derives inspiration from his enjoyment of collectables, cultured perspective and constant intrigue.
Gourmettes are reworked into jewellery pieces that feel solid and sophisticated with a modern twist. Contemporary tags demonstrate the Maison’s Monogram motifs and the denim-inspired titanium blue.

The final chapter is The Curious, inspired by Gaston’s open-mindedness, enjoyment of travel and exploration as he sought new experiences. He was everything at once — a collaborator, photographer, lover of objects and an eager gardener. The pieces part of the chapter include a stud, a bracelet, a necklace, and a pendant in white gold engraved with tiny proportions and embellished with diamonds.
