Laurier – laurel in English  – is a symbol for immortality according to their original muse Joséphine, the first empress of France, later her husband Napoleon reappropriated the herb to a symbol of power. In succession of their Joséphine collection, dedicated to the ideals the empress embodied, Chaumet once again wishes to glorify femininity yet this time through laurel.

The Laurier collection is part of the La Nature de Chaumet and encapsulates the unique movement of the leaf in six exceptional pieces: A delicate necklace, mimicking the twitching of twigs in the wind, a medallion pendant taking the shape of the leaf, two rings adorned with diamond foliage, with one extending over two fingers, lavish earrings and a secret watch with a aventurine dial, resembling both the colour and the movement of the leaf. With its meticulous attention to detail the Maison continues its High Jewellery tradition in diamonds and white gold.
