NARS Reformulates its Afterglow Lip Balm

AS BEAUTY brands continue to blur the line between make-up and skincare, NARS has updated its best-selling Afterglow Lip Balm with a new formula. Designed to prioritise comfort and colour, the cult classic has been reimagined with performance and wearability in mind.

Sheer, hydrating, and non-sticky, the Afterglow Lip Balm now features a nourishing blend of mango seed oil and shea butter, working to smooth and soften lips, leaving them plumper and moisturised. The formula has been further enhanced with hyaluronic acid smoothing spheres, which create a supple, soft-focus finish while locking in hydration for long-lasting wear.

Now available in a wider range of candy-inspired tones – including some of NARS’ most iconic shades such as Orgasm and Dolce Vita – the balm glides effortlessly onto the lips. Each shade delivers a sheer wash of colour that can be worn alone or layered over other lip formulas for added vibrancy. As such, with every swipe, you can gradually build up the lip balm’s intensity depending on your desired look.

Speaking on the lip balms, Founder and Creative Director François Nars said: “Our lip balms are irresistible with their sheer shades, subtle shine, and smooth texture.”
