Dame Zandra Rhodes is announced as new lifetime patron of the Graduate Fashion Foundation 2019


AT THIS year’s Graduate Fashion Week in June, British fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes DBE RDI will be joining the Graduate Fashion Foundation as the seventh lifetime patron, along with Christopher Bailey, Victoria Beckham, Vivienne Westwood, Nick Knight who were all appointed in 2016, as well as Diane von Furstenberg and Nadja Swarovski, both assigned in 2018.

She is well-known as a pioneer of British punk fashion with her use of bold prints and vibrant technicolour designs, as well as feminine patterns. With the 50th year celebration of her brand, the iconic figure in the UK fashion industry enters the charity with the role as a judge for the GFF19.

More importantly, she will be grabbing the attention of cherished fashion houses to support the charity by the side of encouraging upcoming talents across the UK and globally, as well as joining a thrilling panel of judges of Graduate Fashion Week’s most creative award, The Hilary Alexander Trailblazer Award.
