Penhaligon’s releases new scent and scarves inspired by the city of Constantinople

CONSTANTINOPLE, the new perfume from luxury British perfume house Penhaligon’s, invites the wearer to be transported aromatically to the historical city’s sparkling shores and sun-lit streets.  It is the latest addition to the Trade Routes Collection, which features scents inspired by places where the ancient and modern world collide.

With hints of pine, pink pepper, iris, moss and lavender—the perfume highlights the varied nature of the region now known today as Istanbul.  Encased in a decorative and eye-catching bottle, Constantinople makes the perfect addition to any vanity.

In celebration of the new scent, Penhaligon’s invited UK based illustrator Fee Greening to design two silk-like scarves inspired by Constantinople.  The bright, watercolour-esque scarves feature a drawing of the Hagia Irene and the landscape of the city. Available now as a gift with purchase online or in-store—the frame-worthy scarves make for the perfect Summer to Autumn transitional accessory.
