ELECTRO-pop duo Plaitum have just put out a stunning new music video for their new song MYO, taken from the band’s most recent double A-side release Grace Hits/MYO. The single is out now via Wolf Tone records.
The video features snippets of the duo in a North London underpass, surrounded by dancers (friends of the band) who are seen voguing in a sensual style. “Vogue is something we’ve been interested in for a long time,” says lead singer Abi Dersiley. “It’s very hypnotic and satisfying and the inclusive nature of it has always appealed to us.”
A vogue still from the MYO video
The black and white visuals seen in the MYO video summarise Plaitum’s dark atmospheric sound well as it replicates the intensity of their music and live shows in one video.
The band have been confirmed as special guests to Phantogram on their upcoming UK tour in November and will also play Kamio, London, that month as part of the launch of The Great Escape Festival’s ‘First 50’ artist announcements for next year’s event.
