Shangri-La The Shard make a case for an intergalactic Christmas in collaboration with McQueens Flowers


A COSMIC Christmas has arrived on the banks of the Thames as the Shangri-La hotel have unveiled a conceptual seasonal design venture in collaboration with London-based florist, McQueens Flowers.

Keeping with the futuristic, sky-scraping architecture that is the Shard, London’s highest hotel has opted for a space-age approach to their festive displays. Standing at 12 feet tall, an intergalactic fir mixes tradition with fantasy, and is a testament to the work of the floral artists at McQueens.

The focal piece, sure to be plastered over all of our Instagram feeds is supported by an extended array of themed designs all envisioned by McQueens.

Embracing a festive cosmos in all its glory, guests can enjoy an avant-garde Skyline Afternoon Tea at the TĪNG Lounge, with futuristic pastries and spiced teas perfectly immersing you into the ethereal decor, all while sat at one of the best viewing points in the capital.
