Steven Stokey-Daley is announced as a guest designer for Pitti Immagine Uomo

STEVEN Stokey-Daley has been announced as the guest designer at Pitti Immagine Uomo 105.

The Liverpudlian designer established his namesake label S.S Daley in late 2020 following his graduation from the University of Westminster. Stokey-Daley made his London Fashion Week debut in 2021 and managed to capture the attention of industry favourites such as Sarah Mower and Harry Lambert.

Shortly afterwards, Stokey-Daley was a recipient of the British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN initiative and soared to new creative heights.

Pitti Immagine Uomo is considered the most important platform for men’s clothing and accessory collections. Taking place in Florence twice a year, the event is a fashion epicentre drawing attention from retailers, editors and fellow menswear enthusiasts alike.

“Steven Stokey-Daley transforms the British Upper Class into a Queer fashion fantasy,” says Francesca Tacconi, special events coordinator at Pitti Immagine. “Despite his youth, Steven’s project is characterised by an expressive maturity, an amused and eccentric reinterpretation of British heritage, an indifference to gender stereotypes and a commitment to sustainability.”

Stokey-Daley recently won the LVMH Prize for Young Designers in June 2022 and has dressed global pop stars such as Harry Styles. Combining playfulness with impeccable tailoring, it goes without saying that Steven Stokey-Daley will impress all Pitti Immagine Uomo attendees.
