Sunspel and Charlie Casely-Hayford reunite for a second season

BRITISH brand Sunspel collaborates with Charlie Casely-Hayford for a second season with their new collection of five interchangeable pieces.

The collection is realised through the iconic tailoring of Casely-Hayford and the textile proficiency of Sunspel, bringing to life garments of exceptional comfort which effortlessly integrate the suit into a modernised wardrobe.

The collection launched this month is a pre-SS24 capsule modelled on Sunspel’s long-established usage of jersey, with pieces constructed from Italian boiled wool jersey material. The garments demonstrate a contemporary edge with their deconstructed design, raw hems and disorderly structure, giving each item a comfortable, adaptable fit and appearance.

At the capsule’s core is a three-piece suit with wide-leg trousers and a two-button blazer, which can be worn over the wool jersey vest. The upper pieces can be paired or replaced with a jacket of a short cropped silhouette and raw trimmings. A hefty coat is also a part of the collection and fits neatly as an outer layer with its oversized yet airy feel.

The collaboration comprises high-quality fabric and comfortable designs with the unique tailoring of Charlie Casely-Hayford. It is a versatile collection which perfectly showcases what contemporary tailoring should look like.

“This collaboration builds on the previous one, we wanted to get to a place where it doesn’t feel at all like suiting. It’s designed to be part of your everyday wardrobe, to work in harmony with your T-shirts and knits, though it can move seamlessly into a more formal world too.”— Charlie Casely-Hayford

The capsule will be available to purchase online and in-store from 28 November 2023
