THE CELEBRATED Spanish restaurant group, Los Reyes del Mango, is set to launch its first international space in London next month. The Campaner will open its doors on 2 May in the scenic surroundings of Chelsea Barracks, offering elegant all-day dining in a brand-new landmark building.

Situated on Garrison Square, a peaceful enclave around the corner from Sloane Square station, the restaurant resides amongst stunning landscaped gardens and features high-vaulted ceilings and arched windows.
Its spacious outdoor terrace, which boasts direct views of the Grade II-listed Garrison Chapel, will no doubt be a smash hit this summer. Incidentally, the restaurant’s name translates as ‘bell ringer’, in reference to the Catalan tradition of announcing important events through the ringing of the local church bell.

In terms of the menu, expect hearty charcoal-grilled meats and the freshest fish. Highlights will include an Oyster gratin with bearnaise sauce, Steak Tartare served on bone marrow, and scallops accompanied by caviar. The famous monkfish and lobster casserole, served at Los Reyes del Mango’s Barcelona spot, Terraza Martinez, will also be available at The Campaner, allowing Londoners to experience a dish that will no doubt draw in the crowds.

Desserts to die for at The Campaner
For something a little lighter, carefully-crafted casual fare will be served throughout the day, until early evening, so make sure to stop by for a selection of pastries, salads, hams and cheese plates, as well as thrilling desserts such as Crema Catalana, Chocolate Ingot and Lemon Pie. Sherry lovers will be delighted, as will those looking for special beers. The Catalan will offer the legendary Spanish tipple Estrella Damm, as well as Inedit, created in 2008 by its master brewers in collaboration with Ferran Adrià and the team of sommeliers at el Bulli.by Derby Jones
