THE GORING, in the heart of London, is kicking off the festive season with various Christmas-inspired activities, making it the perfect place to be over the holiday season.
On the top of their activities list is the giant walk-in snow globe, located in the hotel’s garden and will be uncovered by the hotel mascot, Teddy the Shetland Pony.
The walk-in snow globe has been designed and scented by Jo Loves, and guests will be able to explore amongst white fir trees and red ribbons with a surrounding scent of Jo Loves’ Pomelo while also receiving a Polaroid picture keepsake to look back on.

A festive Afternoon Tea accompanied by Bollinger Rosé, with finger sandwiches, freshly baked sultana-flecked scones, Christmas-inspired pastries and mince pies to accompany. For those who want bites to take home, there will be clementine and almond shortbread, hazelnut praline and dark chocolate cookies, and spiced ginger snaps.
The hotel will also be offering a package titled The Goring’s Three-Night Christmas Experience, which will allow guests to experience three nights at the hotel with champagne on arrival, a breakfast served daily and a Michelin-starred feasting experience including the Christmas Eve supper, Christmas Day extravaganza and the Box Day lunch.
