Waldorf Astoria Hotels unveil their new luxury paradise

PLATTE Island, nestled in the pristine atoll fringed by palm forests, migratory seabirds, and turtles, is set to welcome a new benchmark for luxury in the Indian Ocean with the opening of the highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island this autumn. This marks the debut of Hilton’s signature luxury hotel brand in Seychelles and promises to redefine luxury in the region.

The resort will boast a collection of 50 seafront villas, each with its own private pool and personal concierge. From one to five-bedroom villas, guests can choose from a range of unique vacation experiences. Several different kinds of animals make their homes on this island, including native Hawksbill turtles, eagle rays, manta rays, and whale sharks – this unspoiled natural beauty provides visitors with an unparalleled feeling of wonder.

As Elias Pertoft, the general manager of Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, shared, “I have never witnessed an island as pristine as Platte Island, where it is possible to glimpse endangered Hawksbill turtles laying eggs, eagle rays and reef sharks ribboning along the lagoon.”

Boasting a collection of six restaurants and bars, the resort’s culinary experiences celebrate the island’s bountiful produce of fruit and vegetables grown on Platte Island’s very own garden.

For those seeking a moment of relaxation, the Waldorf Spa offers a serene destination for holistic wellbeing. Visitors can pamper beyond their wildest dreams thanks to the establishment’s six treatment rooms, beauty salon, hammam, and tranquil outdoor areas.

The hotel also will employ renewable energy generated from a solar field for the majority of its operations as part of the resort’s dedication to ecotourism. Sustainable farm-to-table dining will be provided for visitors with the help of the island’s garden.

When the Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island finally opens, it will be the perfect barefoot luxury vacation spot for anyone seeking a spectacular escape.
