TWO ESTEEMED British enterprises, Burberry and the shoemaker Tricker’s, collaborated in the making of footwear, which debuted as part of Burberry’s Winter 2023 collection.
Tricker’s was founded in 1829 and holds the position of the longest-standing shoemaking company in England, with all their shoes crafted from beginning to end in its factory located in Northampton.

With design by Burberry and the mastery of craftsmanship inherent to Tricker’s, the footwear collection establishes itself on the skill and prowess intrinsic to the shoemaker while adjusting iconic Burberry shapes to complement the vision of the fashion house’s autumn-winter 2023 collection by Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee.
The shoe collection is inspired by Tricker’s country footwear and comprises brogues, Chelsea boots and Derby shoes. A perfect winter colour palette with refined materials adorns the shoes with variations of black, vine and aubergine calf leather and camel suede.

The collection hones into the values of the shoemaker, which include attributes of quality, comfort, individuality and impeccable character.
Further demonstrating Tricker’s values is the stitching of the sole and upper to leather insoles, making certain reparations and refurbishments can be made to the products during their years of wear. All footwear is finalised with a rubber sole to ensure their outdoor capabilities.
The partnering of the iconic Burberry and Tricker’s is fitting, with both brands sharing commonality in their character and heritage of dressing leading explorers.
