Sarah Burton Celebrates Her Muses For Givenchy’s AW25 Campaign

WHILST Sarah Burton’s legacy may be rooted in clothing, her spirit is centred around womanhood. For her inaugural Autumn/ Winter 2025 campaign for Givenchy, the British designer wanted to celebrate the female figures that inspire her.

“The beauty of all women inspires me – including my team,” she acknowledges. “I wanted to capture the brilliant women I work with amongst the cast – real moments with everyone working together”.

Nyaduola Gabriel for Givenchy AW25

With Kaia Gerber – the star of the debut collection’s preview – returning along with an ample cast of top models including Adut Akech, Vittoria Ceretti, Eva Herzigova, Emeline Hoareu, Liu Wen, and Nyaduola Gabriel, the vision of women stretches across all archetypes. Lensed by Collier Schorr, both unposed, intimate moments capturing laughter and conversation bring a sense of togetherness to the brand’s new outlook.

Lucia Pieroni for Givenchy AW25

Most importantly, though, was the decision by Burton to include her two longest collaborators in the AW25 campaign too. The first is stylist Camilla Nickerson and the second is makeup artist Lucia Pieroni. Not only does it show off the multi-generational beauty of the House, but it also gives them a moment to shine in front of the camera, rather than from backstage. It’s an empowering move by Burton, who continues to look at shifting the focus on womanhood as a whole.
