A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Chelsea: 11 Cadogan Gardens

TUCKED behind Sloane Street in the heart of Chelsea, 11 Cadogan Gardens feels like a grand countryside manor—yet it’s right in the centre of London. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we had escaped the city without ever leaving it.

Nestled on a peaceful residential square, the hotel exudes regal charm and effortless English chic, making it the ideal setting for a luxurious weekend escape. A fantastic perk is that the property is dog-friendly—our Chihuahua, Betty, was warmly welcomed with a plush bed and a selection of toys to make her feel completely at home. She strutted around the property like a pampered princess, utterly in her element.

We stayed in a junior suite, and it was absolutely beautiful. The standout feature was the elegant four-poster bed, which looked out over the private gardens opposite. Having access to those gardens made the experience feel all the more special—like we were Chelsea locals for the weekend, tucked away in one of London’s most desirable neighbourhoods.

Junior Suite

The suite was spacious, tastefully designed, and incredibly quiet. We were genuinely surprised by how peaceful it was, given the central location. The bed was supremely comfortable—soft, enveloping, and indulgent. We slept soundly and woke feeling refreshed and rested.

Pavillion Road

Just a short stroll away is Pavilion Road, home to the hotel’s own restaurant, Hans’. It’s the perfect spot for a leisurely brunch or a relaxed afternoon coffee, with charming outdoor seating ideal for watching the world go by. With King’s Road also just moments away, we couldn’t have asked for a better base for shopping, exploring, and soaking up the quintessential Chelsea vibe.

This hotel strikes the perfect balance: countryside calm meets London sophistication. Elegant, discreet, and full of charm—it’s a true hidden gem. We left already dreaming of our next visit.
