Alaïa reimagines the black dress with new capsule

ECHOING ideals of diversity and inclusivity, Pieter Mulier’s new monochromatic collection is an understated example of modern beauty, reinterpreting an Alaïa icon for the modern day consumer.

By reimagining a staple that many possess in their own wardrobes, Mulier aimed to champion versatility, creating garments wearable from the day through to the evening. Designing eleven black dresses, all with different shapes and a distinct individuality, the collection is made to be worn, by anyone, and rejects any form of exclusivity in regards to different body shape.
