The exquisite bag’s name honours the unprecedented tone of Azzedine Alaïa, who was a father figure to many of the models of which he worked alongside. Nicknamed “Papa”, the models would serenade him with “My heart belongs to Daddy”, as a sign of love, mutual respect, and the Alaïa’s unique family connection.
