BOTTEGA Veneta’s latest fragrance collection, Alta, proves the House’s quiet approach to luxury translates just as effortlessly into scent. Made up of 10 eua de parfums, the collection drifts through the moods of the day, from bright, fresh mornings to rich, after-dark moments.
Always Now – Italian Basil Accord, Madagascan Vetiver and Bourbon Essence | Balliamo – Italian White Fig Accord and American Cedarwood Essence | Crepuscolo – Italian Fior di Sale Accord and South Asian Oud Butter
At the core of Alta is the house’s “Intrecciato duo” concept, pairing one ingredient from Italy with another from somewhere else in the world. The result feels familiar yet unexpected: Italian basil meets Madagascan vetiver, blood orange is layered with North African neroli, while creamy stracciatella accord is grounded by oakwood for a scent that feels nostalgic with a modern twist. It’s a fresh take on what an Italian fragrance can smell like, blending heritage with a more global perspective.
Night Sounds – Italian Saffron Accord and Vietnamese Benzoin Essence | Ricordami – Italian Stracciatella Accord and French Oakwood Essence | Slow Rise – Italian Rose Accord and French Clary Sage Essence
The bottles are just as considered. Sculpted to echo Bottega Veneta’s signature weave, they’re finished with wooden caps and gold accents inspired by Venetian architecture and jewellery craftsmanship. Refillable and made using recycled glass, they strike the balance between timeless design and conscious luxury.
Launching worldwide after a three month exclusivity to London’s Selfridges, alongside a series of woven leather accessories, Alta is Bottega Veneta’s biggest fragrance drop yet: a collection that feels effortlessly contemporary while staying true to the house’s obsession with craft.
