ATP Atelier and Tretorn have joined forces on a five-piece collection of boots, outerwear and accessories made for rainy days in the city. The collaboration draws on two sides of Swedish design. Cue ATP Atelier, which creates its shoes and leather goods in Stockholm before they are made by hand in Tuscany, and Tretorn who’ve been producing footwear and clothing for changeable weather since 1891.

The collection consists of three pairs of boots, an oversized raincoat and a bowling bag. All five pieces are designed to withstand wet weather and come largely in black, with brown-and-ivory calf hair adding texture to selected styles.
The Pavia ankle boot is made from natural rubber and stretch foam, with a soft lining and an insole partly made using algae. Its glossy panels give it a smarter finish than the usual rain boot. For more coverage, the knee-high Verbania combines a rubber foot with a flexible fabric upper and an asymmetric topline. Then there’s the low-cut Bormio, which is lined with wool and finished with calf-hair panels, so each pair varies slightly. All three boots have FSC-certified natural rubber soles for extra grip.

For when it really chucks down, the Luno coat is cut from recycled polyester with a water-repellent coating and sealed seams. It has an oversized shape, a belted waist and laser-cut details. The Aosta bowling bag is made from soft waterproof material, with a padded base, two-way zip and detachable shoulder strap. “This collaboration was born from a simple observation: weather has a way of following us, regardless of where we are,” says ATP Atelier founder Maj-La Pizzelli.
