Bally introduces the B-Monogram

DURING the autumn-winter 2021 show titled Legacy Continua, Swiss brand Bally showcased their new house code – the B Monogram. Finding itself not only on some of this season’s must-have pieces but also across shoes, bags and leather accessories. Introduced into the Bally bubble to celebrate and honour their 170th birthday of the brand, the B Monogram was brought to life by Offshore Studio – a Swiss design studio founded by Isabel Seiffert and Christopher Miler.

The B-Monogram design is based on the signature B-Chain that interlocks, similar to that of an infinity sign, but reimagining it as a shoelace; a nod to the founder’s original crafts as a shoemaker in 1851.

For AW21, the monogram is found on key leather silhouettes; including for women, the pointed-toe pumps with the Janelle buckle as well as the casual Bucket bag, and for men, the inspiration for the season incorporates hiking references within an urban environment, so think cross-body bags with detachable compartments and heavy-duty backpacks.
