Bella Freud x The King’s Trust Launch ‘Change a Girl’s Life’ Charity Tee

FOR International Women’s Day, Bella Freud has renewed her longstanding partnership with The King’s Trust, marking the seventh consecutive year of support for the charity’s ‘Change a Girl’s Life’ initiative.

The collaboration takes the form of a limited-edition, 100% organic cotton T-shirt bearing the slogan Give Me Some Good News, with 20% of proceeds from every shirt sold throughout March directed towards the Trust’s work.

Bella Freud x The King’s Trust

Launched in 2019, Change a Girl’s Life exists to support young women facing adversity in regaining confidence and accessing employment opportunities. Research from The King’s Trust reveals that 78% of young women are concerned there will not be enough job opportunities available to them, while 28% believe they will fail in life. Funds raised through the initiative provide access to training programmes, job opportunities, practical skills and the ongoing support needed to build brighter, more secure futures.

The tee is characteristically direct in both message and design; crisp white cotton and bold blue lettering let the sentiment speak for itself. “There is no us and them when we look out for each other. When we are united in fairness and equality, everyone thrives. ‘Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women’ – Maya Angelou”, – Bella Freud.
