SWEDISH luxury brand Byredo has released their new fragrance De Los Santos, a scent designed in celebration of life. Ben Gorham, founder and creative director of Byredo, took inspiration for the fragrance after a period of loss, wanting to create a medium to commemorate his memories and honour the beauty of life.
De Los Santos also pays homage to the traditions of Día de los Muertos and All Saints’ Day, both ceremonies where communities come together to participate in rituals of remembrance of their ancestors.

The fragrance centres around scents of sage however notes of amber and incense through its iris root and mirabelle ingredients can also be discovered throughout. A floral yet fresh undertone is given to the perfume by its cistus component.
