Celine Haute Parfumerie opens at London’s Harrods

AFTER its successful summer pop-up last month in Harrods, Celine is returning to London’s luxury fashion behemoth to open their first dedicated Haute Parfumerie outside of Paris. Taking up space in the Beauty Hall, the installation reflects the interior of its sister place at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, transporting customers to a discover the world of Celine as if they were in the Parisian city.

Within the hues of reflective gold, silver and oak, the perfume collection itself, created and imagined by creative director Hedi Slimane, is inspired by the designer’s diary, taking you from day to night with each edition. Embracing both his personal dimension and the world around him, comfort and memory is what he hopes to evoke, giving people the chance to match their own stories to the perfume.

With eleven fragrances on offer and a chance to also purchase some of the Maison Celine objects, like tortoiseshell combs and perfume cases, Celine’s new opening takes from tradition and infuses it into the brand’s future. Even expanding further with solid perfumes available to buy solely at Harrods for the moment, this is far from your average olfactory experience.
