Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation review

Chanel Les Beiges is the beautifully packaged make-up range that celebrates a healthy, natural glow. For those of us whose skin is pale, bronzers – a fast and flattering beauty boost for darker skins – can look too heavy, too orange, or just plain grubby. Chanel Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid and Healthy Glow Sheer Powder are treasured for bringing a subtle, sunkissed radiant complexion within our reach; can the recently launched Healthy Glow Foundation win a place in our hearts?

The addition of Healthy Glow Foundation to the Chanel Les Beiges range, is a boon to winter skin that needs a little more coverage than the Chanel All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid allows. We tested Healthy Glow Foundation no. 10, and found it perfect for these spring months, when our skin is at its palest, the winds are icy, and we would like a little more protection from the chill.

Chanel have formulated Healthy Glow Foundation with the botanical active ingredient Kalanchoe extract, which has hydrating and anti-oxidant qualities, combined with SPF 25/PA++ sunscreen. Healthy Glow Foundation feels light to wear, but our skin feels comfortably protected from the elements. Skin tone is even, natural and mattified: perfect “no make-up” make-up.Chanel Les Beiges 20

Apply this sheer and natural foundation with your fingertips – quick and simple to use, the result is a very subtle base that beautifies and protects. Available in nine shades (no 10 being the lightest, and no 70 the darkest), Chanel advise choosing one tone lighter for a radiance boost, one tone darker for a sun-kissed glow, or tone-on-tone for a barely there effect.
