CHANEL showcases their most recent range of watches at Baselworld 2019. Staying true to their brand identity, Chanel has released four sleek and sophisticated timepieces: three in black and one in beige gold with a tweed pattern dial enamel. The brand reimagines their classic pieces with an added contemporary flair.
Première Rock Édition Noire, Chanel
For the last 30 years, the Première has been a signature timepiece; drawing inspiration from the N°5 bottle-stopper and the place Vendôme, the octagonal shape has been a staple in Chanel’s watch collections.
The new limited edition Première Rock Édition Noire takes a classic and gives it a new rock look. With its ADLC-treated strap and case, its black-lacquered dial and intense black colour, this is no ordinary Chanel watch. The triple row steel chain bracelet is interwoven with black leather and the steel crown is set with a brilliant-cut diamond (~0.05 carat) making the watch as much an effortless fashion statement as it is a functional timepiece that is water resistant up to 30M.
Boy∙Friend Skeleton Édition Noire, Chanel
Redefining the signature octagon shape with its staid, refined design and bold lines, the Boy∙Friend seeks to intertwine elements from the masculine wardrobe with the femininity of this classic timepiece – an ode to Mademoiselle Chanel herself.
The watch features a shiny black alligator strap and Caliber 3, Chanel’s self-manufactured skeleton movement with manual-winding.
Boy∙Friend Tweed Art Large Size, Chanel
The second addition to the Boy∙Friend range, the Tweed Art has an 18K beige gold case and bezel with a tweed pattern dial “Grand Feu” enamel face and onyx cabochon crown. The satin strap and gold ardillon buckle contrast the subtlety of the other pure black watches being released. 
Monsieur de Chanel, Chanel
Chanel presented the Monsieur in 2016, a watch specifically designed for men. It all began with an idea and a passion, one that manifested like a dream.
The details of the timepiece are impeccable: the matte black alligator strap and dial, the Caliber 1 manual-winding mechanical movement with instant hour jumping and 240° retrograde minute, in addition to its three-day power reserve. A new intense black version of the Monsieur with a high-resistant matte black ceramic case will be unveiled this year.
