Chloé inspired afternoon tea at The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park

The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park has collaborated with Maison Chloé to celebrate the arrival of the Chloé Spring/Summer 2015 collection at their Sloane Street store by launching the Chloé-inspired afternoon tea.

Served in The Rosebery, where oversized picture windows look out over Knightsbridge, the Chloé-inspired tea invites guests to indulge in an array of sumptuous sandwiches and succulent scones, in addition to delicate and beautifully sculptured pastries, which have been inspired by dresses from Chloé’s past and present collections.

The piece-de-resistance served at this ultimate gastronomic indulgence has to be the cherry and almond Manjari chocolate ganache, shaped in the form of Chloé’s iconic Drew saddle bag.

A large choice of champagne by the glass is on offer, including the deliciously refreshing Chloé fizz champagne cocktail, and a wide choice of bespoke teas have been created by the hotel in conjunction with the East India Company.

Tea is beautifully served upon exquisite hand-painted china, having been designed by the hotel’s former manager, which was specially commissioned as his parting gift to the hotel. The Chloé inspired tea is an indulgent treat not to be missed.
